I am writing to tell you about the exciting work of the Texas Early Childhood Education Coalition (TECEC), and encourage you to join with us to support high-quality early care and education for all Texas children.
  
TECEC is a coalition of over 230 organizations and 3,000 individuals that are working hard to make early care and education a legislative priority in Texas.  They keep me informed about what is going on in early care and education throughout Texas, and at the Capitol.  Last year TECEC members sent over 7,000 emails to Texas Legislators in support high-quality early care and education.  Please sign up with TECEC, so you and I can help double that number during the 2009 Legislative session coming up next Spring.
