The pro-drilling lobby in Congress is at it again, and this time, they're exploiting our armed forces to open the Arctic Refuge to oil drilling.  Some members of Congress are trying to sneak a provision into the defense spending bill that would open the Arctic Refuge to destructive oil drilling.

You will probably only have a minute or two to state your name, address, and the reason for your call, so it’s important to be as direct and brief as possible.  Be sure to cover the following points in your call:

• Your name
• Your complete address
• Drilling in the refuge has nothing to do with defense spending.
• Please do everything in your power to keep the drilling lobby in Congress from hijacking the Defense Appropriations bill!
