Training participants will learn more about:

  • How to use research on the benefits of high-quality early education to make  the case for investments at the state and federal levels;
  • Developing relationships with your legislators and the media;
  • The ABC’s of the legislative process; and
  • Ways to take action for children and families today!

Participants will receive a total of 1.5 professional development hours in the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) core competency “Professionalism & Leadership.”
