Since June 2007, the Rhode Island Division of Public Utilities and Carriers (RIDPUC) has given Verizon permission to offer FiOS TV in 19 Rhode Island communities. Today, more than 170,000 households in the communities of Charlestown, Coventry, Cranston, East Greenwich, Exeter, Foster, Hopkinton, Johnston, Narragansett, North Kingstown, North Providence, Providence, Richmond, Scituate, South Kingston, Warwick, West Greenwich, West Warwick and Westerly.have access to this advanced fiber optic network along with a long awaited choice for cable TV. We are excited to give Rhode Island consumers the choice they deserve.

Verizon is also seeking licenses to offer FiOS TV in more Rhode Island communities including Burrillville, Central Falls, Cumberland, East Providence, Glocester, Lincoln, North Smithfield, Pawtucket, Smithfield and Woonsocket. Our goal is to continue to bring as many Rhode Island consumers as possible our FiOS services.
