Northstar Commuter Rail weekday and weekend train
schedules are now available from Metro Transit.
Weekday Train
Schedules
Weekday train schedules are planned around major
work start and end times. Northstar trains will arrive in
downtown Minneapolis about every 30
minutes between 5:51 a.m. and 8:10 a.m. with one reverse trip in
the morning. On weekday afternoons, Northstar trains will leave
downtown Minneapolis about every 30
minutes between 3:50 p.m. and 6:10 p.m. with one afternoon
reverse trip.
Weekend Train
Schedules
Northstar trains also will provide three round
trips each Saturday and Sunday. Trips are scheduled as much as
possible to serve major sporting events and entertainment
activities in downtown Minneapolis. Additional special
event service may be available after the rail line begins
service on Nov. 16.

Now that Northstar’s regular schedule is
finalized, you can plan your trip by calling (612) 373-3333 and
speaking to a Metro Transit representative. You also can plan
your trip by using Metro Transit’s Online Trip Planner.

Spotlight on Coon
Rapids
The Coon Rapids-Riverdale Station is located on
Northdale
Boulevard about a half mile behind
Target Greatland and other retail stores and restaurants. It
will feature a pedestrian overpass with elevator service to
train platforms. Coon Rapids is
home to Bunker Hills Golf Course and some of Anoka
County’s most
popular parks, including the Coon Rapids Dam. Visit the City of Coon
