Greetings, There are only four days left to sign up to be among the first to ride a Northstar train. Entries will be accepted until 5 p.m. this Friday, Oct. 9. If you haven't done so already, enter now for a chance to ride the Northstar Line at grand opening events on Saturday, Nov. 14. Then, invite your friends and family to enter, too. More than 350 tickets will be awarded at each station outside of downtown Minneapolis. Drawing winners will be chosen randomly next week and will receive their tickets by U.S. mail. Those who do not receive tickets in the mail have a chance to claim a limited number of tickets on a first-come, first-served basis at the Nov. 14 events. Space on the grand opening trains is limited. More details about the events will be available soon. Tickets will be required to ride the free Northstar train from suburban stations non-stop to downtown Minneapolis, where riders can see Target Field Station and the connection with the Hiawatha Light Rail Line. No train rides will be available in Minneapolis. At Target Field Station, visitors may tour a Northstar train and receive a free ride coupon good for travel on Northstar on Saturday, Nov. 21.
