On Wednesday, April 12, the Minnesota House of Representatives is expected to debate and vote on its bonding bill, which currently includes funding for Northstar Commuter Rail.

Thanks to Northstar supporters, Northstar is in good standing at the Capitol. But we need your help today to remind Representatives to include Northstar in their final bill.

Once the House passes its version of the bonding bill, a conference committee of House and Senate members will meet to resolve the differences between the House bill and the Senate bill – which includes Northstar. Bonding approval for Northstar in 2006 will complete the state's capital commitment and allows the state to seek the federal funding necessary for construction of the line.
