Urge your legislators to approve the next critical piece of state funding for construction of the Northstar project– approximately $60 million – during the 2006 legislative session.  Help us keep Northstar on track to begin operating in 2009.

Write a personal letter to your legislators.  Some points you may want to include:

• Thanks for supporting the Northstar Commuter Rail project (if your legislators have supported the project in the past).
• The recent Federal Transit Administration recommendation demonstrates the strength of the Northstar project.
• Please support the $60 million request for funding of the Northstar Commuter Rail project during the 2006 legislative session.
• It is critical that the project receive the remaining state funding commitment during the 2006 session to gain the federal support needed to make Northstar operational in 2009.
