NJ Outlaw Off-Highway Vehicle use in New Jersey.
If New Jersey Assembly Bill A-4172 goes into effect it will effectively end Off-Highway Vehicle recreation in the state of New Jersey, this legislation is targeted at all 300,000 members of the New Jersey Off-Highway Vehicle community and it will all but make it impossible to do any thing OHV in New Jersey.
If this law goes into effect many and we mean MANY potential NEW OHV buyers will not even consider the purchase of a Motorcycle or an ATV.
If this bill goes into effect the chance of future OHV parks as well as events on public land will all but disappear because there will not be enough OHV users in New Jersey to support these events or the proposed OHV parks.
The worse part of this legislation is that if it goes into effect the only way that you will be able to enjoy public land is through the window of your SUV.

Subject: I oppose A-4172 because it will penalize 300,000+ of your constituents.
Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,
I am adamantly opposed to Assembly Bill A4172 because it's designed to solely penalize the responsible 300,000 Off-Highway Vehicle users that reside and use their OHVs in New Jersey.
As one of the assemblyman's constituents I oppose Assembly Bill A4172 because it discriminates against me and my family who in these hectic times are constantly trying to find valuable quality time to recreate together as a family.
I oppose Assembly Bill A4172 because it potentially makes my family, my children, and me criminals overnight.
I oppose Assembly Bill A4172 because it does not solve the problems and will only burden law enforcement with additional responsibilities when they should be focused on fighting real crime... like the war on Drugs, Alcohol, Violent Crime and Terrorism.
What I'm asking you, as my representative is to vote NO until my concerns are addressed and that before any legislation goes into effect that access to state and public manage land be made available as well as the promise of the 3 State of New Jersey mandated Off-Highway Vehicle Parks that have to be operation before any fine and penalties go into effect, so that the residents of New Jersey have a viable and legal option.
As one of the assemblyman's loyal supporters I ask you to look out for my interest if you want my future support.
Sincerely,
|
