Support Video Choice in Leominster
Verizon is bringing the most advanced fiber optic network in the nation directly to the doors of homes in Leominster. Our FiOS network contains enough bandwidth to offer video, Internet and voice services to Leominster residents in the very near future.
City officials have scheduled a public hearing Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Leominster Public Library, 30 West St. to discuss Verizon's petition for a video license. If you are interested in voicing support for cable choice and FiOS TV, please join us at the hearing. Soon after the hearing, it is our hope that Mayor Mazzarella will issue Verizon a video license so that Leominster residents will be able to enjoy FiOS TV.
If you are interested in more cable competition and everything our FiOS technology offers, please send an email directly to the Mayor asking him to approve Verizon's cable TV license as soon as possible. A sample letter is provided for your convenience. Please add personal information and comments to customize your letter, if you prefer.
For more information, please contact Stephanie Lee at stephanie.s.lee@verizon.com.
Thank you!

Subject: We need the benefits of cable competition
Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,
As a local resident, I am writing to thank you for fostering the spirit of competition in Leominster and to approve Verizon's petition for a video license.
Verizon is building its advanced fiber optic network right here in town. The network, which brings fiber optic TV, Internet and telephone connections right into our living rooms, is the best in the nation. Today, Massachusetts residents in over 85 communities are benefiting from cable choice and the future of technology.
Leominster is fortunate to be selected as one of the next communities that Verizon is bringing this state-of-the-art network to. Thank you for your leadership in bringing Leominster residents the benefits of cable competition and FiOS. Please move quickly to approve a license.
Sincerely,
|
