Support Video Choice in Norwell
Verizon is bringing the most advanced fiber optic network in the nation directly to the doors of homes in Norwell. Our FiOS network contains enough bandwidth to offer video, Internet and voice services to all Norwell residents in the very near future.
The Board of Selectmen have scheduled a public hearing for Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at Norwell Town Hall, 345 Main St. to discuss and potentially vote on Verizon's petition for a video license. If you are interested in voicing support for cable choice and FiOS TV, please join us at the hearing. Once a license is issued, Norwell residents will join consumers in more than 85 other Massachusetts communities who have FiOS TV as a superior choice for cable service.
If you are interested in more cable competition and everything our FiOS technology offers, please send an email directly to the town officials asking them move quickly through the cable TV licensing process. A sample letter is provided for your convenience. Please add personal information and comments to customize your letter, if you prefer.
For more information, please contact Stephanie Lee at stephanie.s.lee@verizon.com.
Thank you!

Subject: We need the benefits of cable competition
Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,
As a local resident, I am writing to ask the Board of Selectmen to approve Verizon's petition for a cable license so that consumers will have another choice for cable TV.
Verizon is building its advanced fiber optic network right here in town. The network, which brings fiber optic TV, Internet and telephone connections right into our living rooms, is the best in the nation. Today, Massachusetts residents in over 85 communities are benefiting from cable choice and the future of technology.
Norwell is fortunate to be selected as one of the next communities Verizon is bringing this state-of-the-art network to. Thank you in advance for your leadership in bringing Norwell residents the benefits of cable competition and FiOS. We hope you'll say "yes" to cable choice.
Sincerely,
|
