Please join us for the next JVP-DC (Jewish Voice for Peace, DC Chapter)
community meeting, this Wednesday, March 2.

Date and time: Wed. March 2, 2005 7:00 pm
Place: Luna Books, 1633 P St., NW (3d floor), 3 blocks East of Dupont
Circle.

As many of you have heard JPPI (Jews for Peace in Palestine and Israel) has
merged to become a chapter of JVP (
http://www.jewishvoiceforpeace.org)

At the first community meeting, held earlier this month, we came up with
some directions for JVP-DC to pursue in the coming months, including: the DC
Council CAT divestment campaign, events around Jewish holidays, activities
with Palestinian, Arab and Muslim groups, and more.  We will follow up on
these ideas at the next meeting, plan other upcoming events (such as Israeli
historian Teddy Katz's visit on April 10) and discuss decision-making
structures for the group.

So if you've been involved with Jewish peace activism or want to be, please
come brainstorm with us and volunteer to get involved.  Noshing and good
company will again be provided.

Date and time: Wed. March 2, 2005 7:00 pm
