Greetings,

The U.S. House of Representatives is going to vote this week on legislation that creates a competitive state grant program for building and maintaining state early learning systems - the Early Learning Challenge Fund.

Pennsylvania would be a strong candidate for the funds. The Commonwealth could use these competitive grant funds to support important programs like Keystone STARS, the T.E.A.C.H. Scholarship Program, the Early Learning Network, and other system coordination efforts. Please express your support to your member of the U.S. House. Their vote is needed to help secure passage of this important measure.

What's At Stake:

Pennsylvania can compete for federal funds to improve and expand its early learning system if a new federal program is enacted by Congress

This would mean more funds that could support early learning through Keystone STARS, the T.E.A.C.H. Scholarship Program, the Early Learning Network, and more

Campaign Expiration Date:
September 19, 2009
