Subject: Please support H.R. 3221 and early learning

Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,

As your constituent, I know that high-quality early learning experiences have a positive impact on children, families and communities. High-quality early learning programs can have a return on investment of $16 for every $1 invested.

Pennsylvania has made great strides in recent years to improve access to and quality of early learning programs. The programs are working to make the Commonwealth's youngest learners ready for school and ready for success in life.

Among other things, H.R. 3221 creates the Early Learning Challenge Fund. Under the legislation, a total of $1 billion in competitive matching grants would be made available to states to help states improve and expand early learning systems. Pennsylvania would be a strong candidate for such funds and they would go a long way to expand our current efforts. I strongly support the proposal. Additional federal resources will help ensure our children are well prepared to thrive in school and in life.

I respectfully urge you to support H.R. 3221 and the creation of the Early Learning Challenge Fund.

Thank you

Sincerely,
