Panel: 

Dr. Robert Gilman, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Luz Caviedes, Department of Pathology, Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia.
Dr. Gilman and Ms. Caviedes are part of an international research team  that recently developed a faster, simpler, low-cost diagnostic test for tuberculosis. 

Dr. Terrie Taylor, Department of Internal Medicine, Michigan State University
Dr. Taylor divides her time between Malawi, where she conducts research on severe malaria, and Michigan State University where she teaches tropical medicine.
