Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,

Please vote for legislation guaranteeing health care for 10 million children who will have to do without it unless Congress can move beyond the President's veto.

The President thinks that government-funded health care for working families is a bad idea. But he has government-funded health care. And so do our Senators and Representatives.

Is it fair for Bush and his allies to deny children that which they so often take for granted? Not to me, and not to a majority of Americans.

We expect more from our elected officials. The American people want to make sure our children are protected and given basic health coverage that will allow them to grow up healthy and without fear that they can visit the doctor if they get sick.

I urge you to stand up for kids' health and fight the President's veto to block health care to the children of hard working American families.
