Subject: Support Children's Health Care

Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,

On behalf of millions of America's children, I strongly urge you to stand up for children's health care and stand against the President Bush's veto of the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP). By doing this, you will be supporting health care for kids all across this country.

Please give the children of hardworking American families the health care they deserve.

Thank you,

Background Information

More than 9 million children in America are uninsured and can't get access to the regular checkups and care every child needs. The State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) can change that and make a world of difference for many of these kids.

Congress passed the SCHIP bill with overwhelming bipartisan support. President Bush has repeatedly vetoed the bill, denying health care to millions of American children.
