I-884 creates a dedicated education trust fund to provide critical new funding for pre-school, reduce class size, and expand opportunities in higher education. 
 
We're building a list of thousands of people who support I-884 to show Washingtonian voters what this campaign is about - everyday citizens and volunteers, joining together to insist on a better future for our state’s children. Our goal by the end of September is 10,000 "Citizens for Education." We'll use a banner of citizen supporters as a centerpiece at rallies, events, and community meetings all around the state. Our children's education is too important to leave to the politicians. I want to join 300,000 other Washingtonians in making a promise of better education to our kids:

First, every child will start kindergarten ready to succeed in school;

Second, every student will have quality teachers and instructional opportunities throughout K-12;

Third, for every student who works hard, there will be a place in a community college or university, and for every student who needs it, financial help.
