You did it!
You helped to change the conversation in this year's
gubernatorial contest.
When
we launched the What About the
Kids? campaign in August, there was
hardly any talk among leading candidates about issues that
matter most for New Jersey children.
That changed.
By
mid-October, candidates were talking a lot
about children. Preschool and health coverage for
uninsured kids became prominent topics in debates,
political advertisements and media interviews.
Thanks to all of you who signed onto the
campaign, sent emails and letters to candidates, or
attended our gubernatorial candidates' forum in
Trenton.
Your
actions encouraged candidates to talk
about their plans for New Jersey
children.
You
let candidates know the public
wants their governor
to ensure all kids have the opportunity to grow into
healthy, productive citizens able to contribute to the future
prosperity of our state.
Thank
you.
