In 1994, Dick Gephardt successfully led the Democratic fight in the U.S. House to ban the most deadly assault weapons. Now now Republicans in Congress are prepared to let this ban expire – even though every major national law enforcement organization in the country supports the ban.

Tell George Bush to push his Republican leaders in Congress, Dennis Hastert and Tom DeLay, to stand up to the National Rifle Association and extend the ban on these "cop-killer guns."
