More than one thousand people attended a town hall meeting organized by LA Voice to press city officials to respond to a housing crisis facing renters in Los Angeles.  At a meeting covered by the major TV stations in Los Angeles, LA Voice pressed for new city policies, including funding for a Housing Trust Fund, more mixed-income housing and protections for renters to increase the quantity and quality of low-income housing in the city.
