Faith Communities Call for
Halt on I.C.E. Immigration Raids

Campaign Unavailable

We're sorry, this alert is no longer available.

The short explanation of this alert was:

Recent raids by the Department of Homeland Security on New Bedford, MA, Greeley, CO and other cities have broken up families, left children abandoned and traumatized whole communities.  As congregations and faith-based organizations in these targeted cities we have come together to help immigrant families cope with the raids.  We are calling on the Department of Homeland Security to halt these raids.  While there are different views on immigration policy, we can all agree that the raids harm the stability of our communities and families and are the wrong way to enforce immigration rules.

On May 17th a delegation of Clergy and Faith Leaders will travel to Washington, D.C. to deliver this statement to our elected representatives.  Clergy and Faith Leaders from around the country are invited to add their names to our statement.
