This weekend, candidates continued campaigning two weeks before the Nov. 4 elections. First, Republican Presidential candidate John McCain (AZ) held a rally in the Seagate Convention Center in Toledo, Ohio. Then, Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Joe Biden (DE) spoke to supporters at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma, Washington. Later, John McCain's wife, Cindy campaigned on behalf of her spouse in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

RWH: Presidential Candidate Ralph Nader (I) "INFORUM" Event
This week on Road to the White House, Independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader held a campaign event in San Francisco at the Commonwealth Club of California. Mr. Nader answers questions about his presidential campaign and past runs for the White House. The independent candidate will be on the ballot in 45 states this Nov. 4th and is polling 5 to 6 percent nationally, according to the candidate's website.

RWH: Virginia Senatorial Debate
Former Governors Jim Gilmore (R) and Mark Warner (D) debated for the U.S. Senate seat from Virginia. Chris Wallace, host of FOX News Sunday moderated. A panel of journalists, who questioned the participants, consisted of: Kojo Nnamdi, host of The Kojo Nnamdi Show on WAMU88.5, Jeff Schapiro, reporter and columnist for the Richmond Times-Dispatch, and Gail Pennybacker, reporter for WJLA. RWH: Third Party Candidates & Campaign 2008
Road to the White House interviewed Green Party nominee Cynthia McKinney and discussed why she's running as a third party presidential candidate. Then, Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) and third party candidates Ralph Nader, Chuck Baldwin and Congresswoman McKinney held a press conference urging voters to vote for a third party candidate in the November 4th election. Also, the latest ads from the Obama & McCain campaigns.

On November 2, 2006, Mrs. Sarah Palin (R) participated in an Alaskan gubernatorial debate with Gov. Tony Knowles (D) and independent candidate Andrew Halcro. Mrs. Palin won the seat after defeating incumbent Gov. Frank Murkowski in a Republican primary battle and beating Gov. Knowles in the general election.
