Registration

It is our policy to collect and store only personal information that visitors knowingly provide for communication purposes. Our site's registration form asks users to give us contact information (like name and email address). We use that contact information to send the user email updates and, when necessary, to contact the user. We also collect stories about predatory lending abuses on a voluntary basis. This information is considered strictly confidential. We do not sell, rent or otherwise make this information available to third parties of any kind without the user's explicit permission.

Visitor Statistics

We collect aggregate information about visitors to our site. In order to better understand our audience, our web host provides us with statistics, e.g., the number of visits the site receives, the average visit length, common paths people take through the site, top referrers, terms used in search engines to locate the site, etc. This information does not identify users individually. Server statistics collected in aggregate are used to improve the content and navigability of the site. We do not sell, rent or otherwise make this information available to third parties of any kind.

Opt-Out

Users can have their name and data removed from our database at any time by visiting the Subscription Management Page or sending email to info@responsiblelending.org with the subject "REMOVE" or "Remove Me".

Correction/Updating Personal Information

If a user's personally identifiable information (such as email address) changes, or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or remove that user's personal data via the Subscription Management Page.
