Campaign Unavailable

We're sorry, this alert is no longer available. If you would like to learn more about ways you can take action, please visit Public Campaign Action Fund and Public Campaign.

The short explanation of this alert was:

The Buckeye state has a black eye from the scandals that have rocked us over the last years. From Coingate to Reps. Bob Ney's and Jim Traficant's shady dealings to the Diebold concerns, Ohioans are ready for a change.

But Jean Schmidt, the GOP candidate in the special election in the Second Congressional District, just received $10,000 from House Majority Leader Tom DeLay's political action committee, ARMPAC. DeLay and his fundraising committees are being investigated in Washington and in Texas for violations of ethics and campaign finance laws.

We don't need more of the same in Washington -- tell Jean Schmidt to return the $10,000 she received from Tom DeLay and urge her to stand up against his pay-to-play corruption.
