The Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) is the leading funder of Canadian tar sands oil extraction--the country-s fastest growing source of water pollution and global warming emissions. RAN has been asking the bank to end its involvement with the tar sands, but so far the company hasn't shown much leadership

But today you can change that.

RAN Executive Director Michael Brune has recorded a short video appealing directly to Janet Nixon, the wife of RBC CEO Gord Nixon, asking her to get her husband to stop funding tar sands expansion.

You can help by watching the video and sending it to executives at RBC who have, so far, deepened the company's investments in the tar sands instead of taking a leadership role in funding a clean energy future.
