Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) claims he's the "original maverick" but is about to accept fundraising help from Ralph Reed, a man who is a symbol of Washington corruption, at an August 18 fundraiser in Atlanta.

Reed helped his friend Jack Abramoff bilk Indian tribes out of tens of millions of dollars in one of the biggest lobbying scandal of all time — one John McCain helped investigate.

He also helped other Abramoff clients by lobbying against legislation to protect Northern Mariana Islands workers from forced abortions and prostitution.

This isn't the kind of person any presidential candidate — much less one who claims he's a reformer — should be associating with, especially when it comes to fundraising. Sign our petition today and let John McCain know people like Ralph Reed have no place in this election!
