Stop Palm Oil Expansion into Indonesia's Peatlands

The Indonesian government has recently announced that peatlands will be opened up for further palm oil expansion. Help make sure that ADM and Cargill don't go along with the government's plans.

The time is now for ADM and Cargill to take responsibility for their role in the global palm oil industry and commit to sourcing palm oil that does not contribute to destroying the world's remaining tropical rainforests and peatlands, ignore forest peoples' and worker's rights or contribute to global climate change.

Please send a letter to ADM and Cargill today demanding that they take a stand against peatland destruction in Indonesia. ADM and Cargill need to ensure that their plantations and suppliers stop converting natural forests to plantations, resolve community conflicts and respect worker's rights, ensure free, prior and informed consent of forest peoples or else cancel their contracts with these plantations and suppliers.
