We're sorry, this alert is no longer available. If you would like to learn more about ways you can take action, please visit Rainforest Action Network. The short explanation of this alert was:
It's time to tell companies to stop destroying rainforests and sneaking palm oil into kid's Halloween treats!
Join the October 27-31 Halloween Week of Action.
Fill out the form on the right to get your action toolkit, complete with "Warning: Product May Contain Rainforest Destruction" stickers.
We're going to focus on candy companies - some of the biggest purchasers of palm oil.
The plan is to go to supermarkets in your area the week before Halloween, put stickers on candy products that contain palm oil, and let people know how scary rainforest destruction for palm oil can be.
Fill out the form on the right and we'll get in touch and send you everything you need to join in the Halloween Week of Action.
The toolkits will contain:
- 25 stickers for each person taking action.
- A step by step guide to taking part in the action, and reporting back.
- Info on upcoming Day of Action conference calls, and ways to check in with RAN staff if you need more support.
Our last Day of Action made a big impression and more than 20 companies have signed our Palm Oil Pledge.
Now it's time to build the pressure on companies that refuse to help us stop rainforest destruction for palm oil!
