The short explanation of this alert was:
ABC refused to run UCC's ad because, "the network doesn't take advertising from religious groups. It's a long-standing policy."
On May 2nd, ABC had no problem running an ad for Focus on the Family ad during Supernanny. Focus on the Family's own mission states: " To cooperate with the Holy Spirit in disseminating the Gospel of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible, and, specifically, to accomplish that objective by helping to preserve traditional values and the institution of the family."
Send an "informal objection" to the FCC to challenging any pending license renewals for ABC owned stations. ABC has failed to operate in the public interest - a requirement for license renewals.
