We support the Ready for School campaign and its goal to increase access to high quality pre-kindergarten for economically disadvantaged children. As a critical step toward achieving this goal, we support fully funding Oregon Head Start Prekindergarten (OPK) -- a program proven to close the achievement gap for children in poverty.
