As part of the Movement of Hope, we are committed to the well-being of everyone in our communities, especially the most vulnerable among us. People with developmental disabilities are special, contributing members of our communities who need our attention and recognition. Our goal is to ensure that all people have the opportunity to experience full life in community and thrive as full members of community.

Unfortunately in 2003, MN put a freeze on access to essential services for people with developmental disabilities. Right now, the counties report a total waiting population of 4,299 people with disabilities who need support to thrive in their own homes or in a community-based group home.

We have an opportunity NOW to help people with disabilities receive services.
MR/RC Waiver Bill (HF705 /SF1056) proposes opening up access
to services for people with disabilities!
