Broadband, or high speed Internet access, is transforming every aspect of our lives. The Broadband Changed My Life contest is part of a nationwide effort by the Alliance for Public Technology (APT) to highlight the breadth and scope of the impact these changes have on a personal level.

APT wants you to share your story. Tell us why broadband internet access makes a critical difference in your everyday world and why you can't imagine life without it. A grand prize of $1,000, a second place prize of $500 and a third place prize of $250 will be awarded to the best submissions. They will also be highlighted on the APT web site and featured in APT-sponsored events.
