Thanks to the action of thousands of activists like you,, Congress passed an Energy Bill that increases fuel economy standards for vehicles for the first time in over 30 years Unfortunately, the renewable electricity standard (a requirement that utilities produce 15 percent of their electricity through renewable energy sources) was not included. 

However, this historic legislation will make America more energy independent, more secure, create thousands of new jobs, spark economic growth, save consumers money, cut pollution and make real progress to reduce carbon emissions warming the Earth. And you were a big part of that!
