Don't Let Giant Agribusiness Destroy the Rainforest
Deforestation accounts for a quarter of all greenhouse gas emissions.
Three agribusiness giants, ADM, Bunge, and Cargill, don't seem to care.
These companies are leading the charge to clear as much rainforest as possible, burn the remaining land, and drain peat swamps in order to make cheap food oil and biofuel crops, which they then promote as a "green" alternative.
Of course, nothing could be further from the truth. Expanding our use of rainforest biofuels will dramatically increase greenhouse gas emissions and intensify global warming.
Send a message to the CEOs of these companies telling them that you won't put up with the destruction of rainforests, displacement of Indigenous communities, and destruction of our climate for agribusiness profits!
