Support Video Choice in Northborough
Verizon is bringing the most advanced fiber optic network in the nation directly to the doors of homes in Northborough. Our FiOS network contains enough bandwidth to offer video, Internet and voice services to all Northborough residents in the very near future. However, to take advantage of FiOS TV, in addition to FiOS Internet and phone service, the Board of Selectmen must grant Verizon a cable TV license.
The Northborough Board of Selectmen have scheduled a public hearing to discuss and vote on the video license. The hearing will be held on Monday, July 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the Selectmen's Meeting Room, Floor 2 at Northborough Town Hall, 63 Main St., Route 20. We hope that you can attend and voice your support.
Once a license is issued, Northborough residents will join consumers in over 70 other Massachusetts communities who have FiOS TV as a superior choice for cable service. If you are interested in more cable competition and everything our FiOS technology offers, please send an email directly to the town officials asking them move quickly through the cable TV licensing process.
