Join us at the State Capitol on March 20, 2006 for our Fouth Annual Park Advocacy Day
Each year, over 100 park supporters travel to the State Capitol to meet with policymakers to discuss the important issues facing our parks throughout the state. These day-long visits from park advocates make a great impact in legislators’ support for key park policies and issues.
Participating in Park Advocacy Day is meaningful, fun, and most of all, easy! Appointments are scheduled for participants in advance, and small teams visit legislators and members of the Governor's Administration. In addition to the opportunity to hear directly from legislators, attendees network with other park enthusiasts, attend an evening reception honoring park champions in the legislature, and more. Online registration is quick and easy by clicking on the RSVP button on this page.
Please register by March 10th to be a part of this exciting and worthwhile event!
