Dear Friend of Brit Tzedek,
This Monday, Benjamin Netanyahu and President Obama
will have their much anticipated first meeting at the White
House. On their agenda is three major issues: 1. Is
there a need for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian
conflict? 2. Reinvigorated peace negotiations 3. Continued
settlement expansion

Representatives Steve Cohen (D-TN), Charles Boustany (R-LA),
and Russ Carnahan (D-MO) have introduced a bipartisan letter,
which backs President Obama's commitment to assert U.S.
leadership in pursuing a negotiated two-state resolution to the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as well as a comprehensive
regional peace. So -- now, right now -- we're asking you
to call on Congress to stand behind President Obama's leadership
in creating Middle East peace and sign the bipartisan
letter!
Take 60 seconds TODAY to show that you have the
President's back. Tell Congress that bold diplomacy is
in the best interests of Israelis, Palestinians, and the
U.S.!

Subject: Support the President’s Bold Diplomacy in the
Middle East!
Dear [decision maker name automatically inserted here],
I am writing to request that you sign the
Cohen-Boustany-Carnahan letter to President Obama, backing
strong American leadership to achieve a two-state solution for
Israelis and Palestinians, and a comprehensive peace for the
entire region. As a pro-Israel, pro-peace constituent, I
recognize that strong American leadership is crucial in
resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and bringing about a
comprehensive Mideast peace.
Especially, in light of the
visits of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and President Hosni
Mubarak to the White House, it is essential that the President
know that he has the strong support of Congress in renewing U.S.
leadership to help negotiate a resolution to the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Please sign the
Cohen-Boustany-Carnahan letter to President Obama today and join
with me in supporting the president in pursuit of a two-state
solution, representing Israel's best chance for achieving
enduring peace and security.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]
