Gopin, an internationally renowned expert on conflict
resolution, has trained thousands of people worldwide in
peacemaking strategies for complex conflicts in which religion
and culture play a role. He has engaged in back-channel
diplomacy with religious, political, and military figures in
Arab countries–including Syria–as well as Israel. He
has written several books, including Healing the Heart of
Conflict (2004); appeared on numerous media outlets; and is the
author of many articles in journals and major newspapers. Gopin
is now working to create a Web-based series on enemies who
