Dear Friend,
Ethel Adams was injured in a road-rage car accident in
2005. Ethel was just an innocent bystander, but she had to
fight her insurance company, Farmers, when it unreasonably
delayed and denied her claim -- despite suffering catastrophic
injuries that left her disabled for life.
You might remember Ethel's story -- it was widely covered in
newspapers and on TV across Washington State as an example of
insurance company abuses. After the story broke, Farmers
publicly denied that they denied Ethel's claim -- and only after
public outcry did they ultimately agree to pay it.
Click here to watch our new TV ad, reminding every
Washington voter about Ethel's story, a case that symbolizes how
the insurance industry can unfairly treat consumers -- and why
we need to Approve R-67.
Ethel's story is just one of thousands of stories consumers
face in Washington everyday -- which is why Insurance
Commissioner Mike Kreidler appears in our new TV ad, directly
calling on voters to Approve R-67.
I can't think of a better spokesperson than Insurance
Commissioner Mike Kreidler, who knows the issue of insurance
company abuses inside and out. It would be great if every
Washington voter could hear directly from him before they mail
in their absentee ballot or head to the polls.

Unfortunately, with the big out-of-state insurance companies
spending nearly $11 million to flood the airwaves, we know not
everyone will be able to see our powerful new Approve 67 ad on
TV.
So we're counting on you to spread the word to your
friends and family -- even people that you may have already
talked to about Referendum 67.
This is the time, in these last few days before
Election Day, to forward one last message to every Washington
voter you know, reminding them to vote to Approve
R-67.
