The roof of their home collapsed in an enormous rainstorm, flooding their house with water. Three times the insurance company said they'd pay to repair the interior of Sara's house -- but not the roof! Sara had to go to court, which cost time and money. A year and a half later, the insurance company finally paid. But, as Sara says in this new internet ad, the insurance companies can't be allowed to "deny, deny, deny" and just assume that people will go away -- because Sara almost did. On ballot initiatives like Referendum 67, most voters rely on advice from friends and family to help them make up their minds. Some of these issues are complicated, so recommendations from people that voters know and trust can really make a difference.
